Like Freeport, Qeynos is one of the two starting cities in Everquest 2. However, this so-called good and neural city is the complete opposite to Freeport in many remarkable ways, but it also shares the same common features as the evil city of Freeport as it is being densely occupied by many greater races in EQ 2 and it is a care-free residence for humans as well.

Qeynos normally consists of several suburbs like The Willow Wood for the Wood Elves and Half Elves; Nettleville Hovel for Humans and Kerrans, Starcrest Commune for Erudites, Graystone Yard for Dwarves and Barbarians, Castleview Hamlets for the Frogloks and High Elves; and the Baubbleshire for Halflings and Gnomes.
